Adriana ( 9 years old ), and Liberty ( 7 years old ), are Spanish Market Artists. Adriana won the the CRAFTSMANSHIP AWARD at Spanish Market for her Corazon Retablo when she was only 5 years old, and FIRST PLACE at the New Mexico State Fair (NMSF). She also received a Participation Award for a Cross Retablo. In 2007 she won First Place for her Reredos (Altar Screen) entitled "Santos de los Ninos" which was purchased by the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art for their Permanent Collection. She also won First Place for a Retablo of San Nicholas and also Third Place in the Fine Arts Division for a Reredos entitled "Los Arcangels" at the 2008 NMSF. Liberty Gonzales won her first award , Third Place when she was 6 years old at the 2008 New Mexico State Fair for a Retablo entitled "El Alma de Maria" and a Participation Award for one of her Crosses.
